PULLEY AND ROPE, (uses small pulley to make tension)
ROPE AND PULLEY,(inversing mechanism for loading higher weights)
Adding small movable puuley in mechanism'1', 9when the pulley is pressed the band will transmit the motion, when it is not band becomes slack and will not allow to transmit the motion.)
(lever IS secured to the semi-circular segment, tHIS imparts a reciprocating rotary motion to the two pulleys below.
(enganging, disenganging of the shafts)
Belt & Pulley Mechanism( used in machine tools for varying speeds, e.g. lathes)
Cone Pulleys ( e.g. cotton machinaries.)
(just the modification '9', being different shape)
